Today we took the McKinley Explorere glass domed train from the McKinley Princess Lodge to the Denali Princess Lodge which is located close to the entrance to Denali National Park.
Many of us will enjoy the Dinner Theatre Show tonight with a delicious dinner of ribs or salmon. The show will give us a taste of the history of the goldrush era with the saloon girls, miners, and other colorful characters that came to this area. Some others of our group went on the Husky Homestead Tour and spent some time at the home of a three time Idatarod Champion. We got to hear the stories of the trail and also hold puppies. - Connie VanderPoel, tour director
