Today our ship docked in the historic port of Skagway, known as the garden city of Alaska due to the magnificent flowers and garden products. Skagway is also rich in history, known as being the entrance to the Klondike trail and the Gold Rush. Many of our group took the narrow gauge train "White Pass and Yukon" railroad. On this train we got to follow the trail of "98", but in much more comfortable conditions. Connie VanderPoel, Tour Director
