Today we spent most of our day learning the fascinating history of this city by Lake Superior. A city tour acquainted us with the early days of railroads, mining, and shipping. We saw some of the beautiful homes built during this boom time. At the Railroad Museum we witnessed the power of those trains as we got to see many restored engines, dining cars, etc.
Our lunch led us around, literaly. We had lunch at the Radisson Restaurant on the 15th floor at the revolving restaurant. Besides, a great lunch we also had a great view.
This evening we had a beautiful night for our Vista Fleet Dinner cruise. Great sightseeing and food and we were lucky enough to have one of the large freighter ships go under the lift bridge right before our boat. A full and fun day! Connie VanderPoel, Tour Director
