Texas - Day 15

Our last day gives us a chance to ponder these last two weeks on the Texas tour. We compared notes about what we are going to miss or what we have learned. DuWayne is going to go home and work on improving his dandelion crop until they resemble those red dandelions in the packing shed. He’s hoping to bunch them together and sell them. All of us are in the process of not buying any condominiums in the Leaning Tower of South Padre Island. We’re going to miss the warm weather, the palm trees and the flowers. Some are going to miss not having to cook. Our Midwest freeways won’t give us the thrill of the four level interchanges. We’ll miss Dave opening the door for us and we’ll miss the evening social hours, but we probably won’t miss standing in line for bathrooms! The most common response to the tour, however, is that it was a perfect way to take a chunk out of winter.
