Christmas in Branson November 11 - 16 Day 3

What a perfect, sunny fall day we have had! The fall foliage is colorful, especially the Bradford pear trees with their glossy small leaves. Each tree has all the fall colors on the tree at once: green, yellow, orange, red, and even a spectacular burgandy.

Our first stop of the day was at the Branson Mill complex, with a Mountain Man Nut and Fruit shop, a leather shop, and a wonderful store selling inspirational gifts and Amish/Mennonite things. Then we drove out into the countryside, looking at Table Rock Lake, Table Rock Lake Dam, Lake Taneycomo and scenic views. We did not find any straight or level roads
to drive!

Along Lake Taneycomo in downtown Branson, we spent time at Branson Landing. Strolling, lunch, enjoying the water show and shopping were enjoyed by all.

Our first show of the day was Joey Riley. His comedy and musical talents left us laughing. The show also featured his beautiful wife and her dancing partner who also juggled, rode a unicycle and sang. Our evening show was Shoji Tabuchi, always a favorite. Flying angels for a finale
were most impressive. - Laurel Johnson, Tour Director
