Our drive today was through high desert country. With limited scenery, we watched a movie and kept entertained on the bus with a sing along and games. By mid afternoon we were in the state of Utah and driving through the Salt Lake Desert. We stopped to look at the vast expanse and walk right up to the salt. We drove past a Morton Salt business and the Great Salt Lake on the way to our hotel in Salt Lake City. This evening we had a walking tour of Temple Square including the beautiful Conference Center. We ended in the Mormon Tabernacle where we were able to sit in on a rehearsal of the famous choir. -Laurel Johnson, Tour Director
